About a Cuddly Bear and an SDK

by Alexandra Leisse on November 3, 2009

Winter has shown it’s frosty face for the first time now, and while a lot of us were on their way to warmer places the unhappy rest had to prepare their minds for the cold and dark days to come. Which made us a bit slow, I have to admit.

We did notice however that Canonical released a new version of Ubuntu and it’s many derivates on last Thursday. Qt has been a long time citizen of the repositories – not only of Ubuntu’s of course but most other Linux distribution’s as well. But now a new meta package called qt-sdk has joined the jolly family of Qt packages.

It has never been easier for developers on *buntu Linux to install all they need to get started on Qt!

At last!

I’ve been complaining about the lack of the complete SDK in a meta package for ever!

Thank you!
