You may recall that back in April on this blog, Katherine invited you all to take part in our annual Qt User Survey.
Nokia N900
The feedback is in, and we want to thank everyone that took the time to tell us what they think and what they want Qt to be in the future. It’s vital for us to understand the thoughts of our developers and we got some especially valuable insights from this survey.
The specifics from the survey are for our internal use only, but in the coming weeks we will share some of the interesting themes we found in the responses.
You might also recall that as well as helping us make Qt better, there was a second incentive to complete the survey….giveaways!
Fifty survey respondents were randomly selected and each will receive a brand new Nokia N900.
The lucky people are listed below. Congratulations! If you’re on this list we will contact you shortly to arrange delivery of your new device.
Please note that Nokia or their agents may be required to advise the United States Internal Revenue Service or any other local tax authority of the value of the Prize awarded to as part of the survey in the form of a Form 1099 or similar, and that recipients are responsible for paying any associated tax in their jurisdictions for receipt of the complimentary device..

Having spent some time with Kim Jung Nissen, i can tell you that the guy is over the clouds about finally getting one of these things – he saw mine and went “Nuh, want!” (alright, less lolcat, but that was the essence
). Congrats to everyone who won! 
Also, brilliant way of getting a good bunch of responses to what (if memory serves) was a well designed survey. i’ve done them before on the other side, and know how difficult it is to get them done just right
